"A friend you got for life" people say. But a British study shows that friendships are more then often broken. Especially the fact that it is less fun with the two of you can make sure someone takes the decisive step to break a friendship.

90% Children Wear Bad Shoes

According to a Belgian study with 119 Flemish children more than 90% of children wear the wrong footwear.

Madonna Spends 77,000 US dollars for Anti-Cellulite Machine

Pop star Madonna has paid 77,000 US dollars or 50,000 British pounds for an anti-cellulite machine. The 'D-Actor', would make cellulite disappear as snow for the sun after only one treatment.


The 'D-Actor' was originally used to treat painful joints. Until the treating physicians noticed a significant improvement in their patience's skin. "The strength of the acoustic vibrations breaks down the cellulite immediately," says one owner of a London beauty salon.

Lady Gaga is obsessed with hats. To make her designs more eccentric and to be able to put more of her own personality into it the designer started an internship with designer Philip Treacy.


"She loves my studio and is a real 'hat woman'. She is also very excited about her internship. Sometimes I ask her if she finds a hat or mask not too extravagant, but she thinks then it is even better. She likes things nobody else would wear, "says Philip Treacy.

Moody Employees Perform Better

A disgruntled employee is a good work force according to a study by Professor Joseph Forgas, University of Wales.


When workers are moody during working hours it would increase the quality of their performance. They make less mistakes, work more concentrated, are less likely to be influenced and have better argumented discussions.

According to Professor Forgas the explanation is simply evolutionary. The brain recognizes negative emotions such as anger and anxiety as positive attributes to keep us alert.
