Fathers Confident in Dealing With Their Baby Undermine Self-Esteem Women

While a competent father may well contribute to the upbringing of a child, he also undermines the confidence of the mother. This is what a study shows concerning 78 parents with a child of 8 months old.

When fathers are not so proficient dealing with the baby  women say that is takes more time to explain than if they would do it themselves. Is the man is very competent and helpful in dealing with his baby than the woman soon feel inferior. "Society still expects education mostly to be done by women. When she sees that her man may just as well, this causes a dent in her self-esteem", the researchers say.

The research also shows that men are very enthusiastic about their wife. They give her 24 out of 28 when asked about their parenting skills. Women give their husband only 21 out of 28.
