Sleeping Pills Shorten Live

SleepingPillsMakeYouDieEarlier

People who regularly take sleeping pills are one third more likely to die prematurely. This is what tells us a study with 12,000 Canadians.

If you frequently use sleeping pills the risk of early death increases by 36%. According to the researchers, this is because the pills make you more sensitive to any type of illness ranging from cancer to parasites. Moreover, your coordination and alertness reduces, so you can fall faster and fiercer. The pills also appear to affect your mood, making you more prone to suicide.

The researchers therefore recommend behavioral therapy for insomnia related problems.
