2010 Best Paid Models

As an annual tradition Forbes.com made the list of highest paid models. This didn't required much work because of the economic crisis, there are only little shifts in the top 10.


"In times of economic crisis, companies choose security. They do not give opportunities to new models, but they want their product advertised seen by a fixed value, an old hand in the box as it were," says Ivan Bart, senior vice president and managing Director at IMG Models at Forbes.com.

It is not surprizing for Gisele Bundchen to be first. She increased her income in one year with $ 7,000,000 to an income of $ 25,000,000. Especially her campaign for True Religion Jeans, Dolce & Gabbana sandals and her own collection did the 29-year-old supermodel no harm.

Heidi Klum is in second place with an annual income of $ 16,000,000. That income comes mainly through advertising campaigns for Nintendo, McDonald's and Volkswagen. Kate Moss is with $ 9,000,000 in income in third place. The Dutch Doutzen Kroes occupies the fourth place with an annual income of $ 6,000,000. Also in the top 10 are Alessandra Ambrosio, Natalia Vodianova, Daria Werbowy, Miranda Kerr and Carolyn Murphy.
